5-day Kala Mandali workshop concluded with great fanfare in Lanji (Balaghat)

The Kala Mandali workshop organized by Movement-21 members at Poly Academy, Bisoni, Lanji, District- Balaghat from 15 August 2024 to 20 August 2024 was successfully concluded. In this workshop, the participants received training in various arts under the supervision of the chief instructor, famous singer Narendranath. The aim of the workshop was to provide an opportunity to the youth and local artists to improve their art skills. The event was well received by the local community and the participants and considered it an important cultural contribution. Lanji Kala Mandali workshop was inaugurated on 15/08/2024 at 2 pm in the presence of Manoj, Nilima, Anil, Vineeta, Kailash and M.K. Madame.

On this occasion, Manoj and Anil elaborated on the role of Kala Mandali in Movement-21. He told that the aim of the Kala Mandali is to bring positive change in the society through art and culture. Under this initiative, local artists are encouraged and provided a platform so that they can further hone their skills.

Apart from this, Nilima discussed the guidelines of the Kala Mandali and made the members of the Kala Mandali present aware of it. She informed about the rules and expectations to be followed during the workshop, so that all the members can perform their duties in a better way and get maximum benefit from the workshop.

The theme song of the second day of the workshop started by the Chief Instructor Narendranath on 16/08/2024 energized and excited all the participants attending the workshop. In this workshop, six major songs of Movement 21 were practiced regularly from 15 August 2024 to 19 August 2024. Narendranath taught the nuances of music to all the students in depth. He not only provided expertise in singing, but also gave information about other necessary musical instruments, so that the participants can become proficient in various aspects of music.

(2) ‘Shiksha Humein Saman Chahiye’ was performed by:

  1. Padma 2. Shashi 3. Sujit 4. Vandana 5. Moticharan 6. Vinita 7. Kamal 8. Sunil.

(3) Marathi song ‘Samate Che Chakra He Phir Jaga Vaari’ was presented by –
1.Padma 2.Vinita 3.Vandana 4.Shashi 5.Namita 6.Sunil

(4) Suno Didi Suno Ga Bhaiya Mor Chattisgarh song was presented by:
1.Kailash 2.M.K. Mahame 3.Prakash 4.Vandana 5.Samita and 6.Moti Charan.

(5) Shiksha Na Jot Gondi song was presented by –
1.Vinita 2.Moti Charan 3.Samita and 4.Sujit

(6) Vaishali and Sanjana presented a dance performance on the song “Shiksha Humein Saman Chahiye”.

(7) Deshna presented a dance performance on the song “Aao Re Shiksha Lene Aao Re”.

The following artists accompanied the musical performance on various musical instruments: Amosh on Octopad, Shailesh on Dholak, Narendra Wagh on Harmonium, Clavebox – M.K. Madam and Prakhar performed on drums and M.K. Madam performed on dafli. M.K. Madam expressed his gratitude for the program.
